About & affiliate disclosure

Long Trail Kit publishes practical gear guides for long-distance hikers.

The domain ahippieinthewoods.com changed hands in 2026. This is a new site and is not connected to the blog or the YouTube channel that used this address before.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this site are affiliate links and cost you nothing extra.

Products are chosen because they fit the topic of each guide. We do not publish prices or ratings: they change often, and Amazon shows the current ones at the time you buy.
